Cardinals beat the Giants 6-2 On the arm of Carpenter and the bat of Pujols. Carpenter gave up his first earned run of the season on his way to a win. Schumaker had a good night went 3-4 with 2 RBI's. Pujols hit 2 solo bombs his 15th and 16th of the season. I smell another MVP for Albert if teams will pitch to him.

Tough Loss by Cardinals
Cardinals lost a tough one today. Great pitching matchup just to bad the way it ended. Carpenter looked great which is a positive, couldn't get no help from supporting cast. I guess we will have to settle for 2 out of three.
